Nature and cityscapes never cease to amaze me. I love going outside throughout the seasons and either painting from life or taking photos of my surroundings and painting from those.

The Lorax in Redwood Forest SOLD 16x20" acrylic on canvas This was a commission for someone who lives in California. They told me they wanted to incorporate this quote. I decided to make the painting personal by placing the Lorax in an ancient redwood forest, common in California. The population of these magnificent trees has been decreasing, and we could use a little motivation to keep them (and other natural beauties) alive. Hibiscus Flower This image is not mine. I found it in a nature magazine, but the beauty struck me. The hibiscus in my opinion is one of the most beautiful flowers in nature.
