Landscapes & Nature
Nature and cityscapes never cease to amaze me. I love going outside throughout the seasons and either painting from life or taking photos of my surroundings and painting from those.
The "for sale" paintings are available on my Etsy site, or you can contact me about the cost directly. They are all ready to hang (painted on the sides for a sleek look unframed).
Palos Verdes Cliff View30 x 40", Acrylic on canvas A personal commission for someone who lives in Palos Verdes. This was one of their favorite views, looking down on the resort by the sea. | Dawn in YellowspringsFOR SALE 36 x 24", Oil on canvas. My own image, captured while watching a cross country race through John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs, Ohio. | Summer at White Bear LakeFOR SALE 20 x 24", Acrylic on canvas. My own image from a cabin on White Bear Lake, Minnesota, where my family and I used to stay every summer. A happy place. |

Canoes by a Minnesota LakeFor sale 11 x 14" acrylic painting. Perfect for a lake house or anyone who loves the peaceful nature of lake life. | The Lorax in Redwood ForestSOLD 16x20" acrylic on canvas This was a commission for someone who lives in California. They told me they wanted to incorporate this quote. I decided to make the painting personal by placing the Lorax in an ancient redwood forest, common in California. The population of these magnificent trees has been decreasing, and we could use a little motivation to keep them (and other natural beauties) alive. | Sunset Over the LakeFOR SALE 16 x 20", Acrylic on canvas. Completed at the Painters Roost in Burlington, NC. |
Beach At SunsetFOR SALE 16 x 20", Acrylic on canvas. Completed at the Painters Roost in Burlington, NC. | Tide PoolFOR SALE 10x16", Acrylic on canvas This image is not mine. I found it in a book of nature. But I used to visit tidepools myself when I lived in Santa Barbara, California. It is a great memory from my childhood, and this image reminded me of those times. | Hibiscus FlowerThis image is not mine. I found it in a nature magazine, but the beauty struck me. The hibiscus in my opinion is one of the most beautiful flowers in nature. |
