Buildings and Cityscapes
All works (with the exception of the Green Bean Cafe) are acrylic on canvas.
New York Public Library
The second of my New York landmark series, playing with warm and cool colors. The warm pink on the stairs brings them forward, while the cool green building in the background falls behind.
Playing with complimentary colors, I completed this image of the flatiron using a reddish gray and a greenish gray to bring the buildings forward in perspective.
